Battery is good enough and easily lasts more than a full working day. Camera is good. Screen quality is at its best as it is an smoaled phone. Colours really pop up and far better than other ips lcd full hd screen phones. Multi tasking is a shame because at a time you cant open more than 4 or 5 apps. Overall a value phone as I got it at Rs.11500 including old phone exchange of Rs.5150. Definitely a worth buy at Rs.11500 but if one can spend Rs.17990 which is its original price then he may go for

However, after buying and using, I can say that most of those negative comments are intentional to impact the sale of this product. Samsung Galaxy J8 is excellent in many ways. Very good screen. Excellent Cameras (both rear & front) with superb features. Huge storage. No lagging at all. Very decent battery back up for normal daily usage. Fingerprint sensor and face unlock work absolutely fine. The features available in J8 are similar to many high end models of reputed brands. A mobile phone should be seen and used as a mobile phone and we should not be naive to expect the mobile to work as a PC, mainly at a sub-20K range of mobile. Personally i have used its camera functions only. And the images taken by it was great and when i transfered them to my PC, the images had turned out to be fantastic and had no pixelations and was high resolution and crisp. Images captures turned up showing large expanse of areas in the back,which i personally found amazing. And the details it captured was high def and not pixellated in

Each time Samsung gives me a wakeup call that there's no need to pay over $300 to have a good phone for our daily needs. Every thing I need to do today with any $300+ phone I can do with this J8. I have seen the A10 which is $100 cheaper than J8, also has fantastic features and doesn't differ much form any other. I am pretty sure in the next couple of years we will have G5 in any phone but the price will remain as budget as possible. Any way I am not worried with G5 because LTE/G4 still doing the job that I need. The most I have spent on a phone was $600 when the Galaxy S3 came out (I bought 2, for me and my wife), but a couple of months later came the S4 for almost the same price, I was very disappointed. Ever since I promised myself to never buy phone over the range of $300, luckily the tech is growing and I can have low price for a good phone.
